I would recommend something like this: "Alert. Allow mozilla.github.io to
use your microphone? Press F6 to access this alert." It is simple, easy to
understand, and doesn't make the user feel like the alert has focus.

alerts?
Hey all.
As part of some discussion of a Firefox bug, it was suggested that it's
problematic that Orca doesn't read the entire contents of a new, non-
focused alert.
For instance, consider the pop-up for microphone permissions. Right now Orca
(master) says "Alert. Allow mozilla.github.io to use your microphone?"
Would you prefer Orca to say instead "Alert. Allow mozilla.github.io to use
your microphone? Microphone combo box. Monitor of Built-in Audio Analog
Stereo. 1 of 2. Remember this decision checkbox not checked.
Block push button. Allow push button."
Keep in mind that focus remains in the web page when this thing pops up and
if you actually want to interact with it, you need to use F6 to get to it.
I'm happy to make the change if everyone thinks it's a good idea.
Thanks in advance for your input!
