Re: [orca-list] Fedora 34 - After installed to ssd: no speech by orca

No trouble, have re installed ubuntu mate 20.04 LTS on this system.

Think I'll wait till V35 gets released and try again. As much as some people don't like gnome, you gotta
admire how ubuntu makes it really easy to install the OS. Plus as much as I prefer the UI of mate, I do
personally find default ubuntu out of all the distros I've tried to be rock solid in terms of stability. Even
if gnome is a little on the heavier side of performance to run.
Not a rant, just nearly an observation in trying out different distros over the past few months. Since I've
heard about Linux.☺️

It is a bug. Use fedora mate 34. Be careful though, speech might be
permanently disabled after you restart. I haven't figured out if it is my
G14 causing the problem, or a design bug somewhere in fedora.

Subject: [orca-list] Fedora 34 - After installed to ssd: no speech by orca

Hey all

So wanted to give Fedora V34 work station addition a try.
After installing it to the computer, I was unable to get orca up and running
to complete the setup process.

Is this a bug with the 34 work station version?
