[orca-list] thunderbird - typing and reading with orca

Hello everyone

When using the thunderbird email client latest version. On Ubuntu Mate 
20.4 LTS

Orca doesn't announce what one is typing / deleting.

Are there keystrokes that I am missing to be able to compose emails in 
the programme?

Work around is currently to type my text in Plumer and paste said text 
into application.
