I am running ubuntu-mate-20.04.1. What is the easiest way to make
sure I am always using the latest stable release of Orca?
You can install mint mate mint cinnamon or mint xfce now. Also about a year ago I had mint running with orca talking. Most of the messages about orca in mint are from sighted users wanting to know how to turn it off.

Mint accessibility is a problem to the best of my knowledge.
The default desktop is not mate for sure and I wonder how accessible it has become now.

Mint can certainly do it and it's lighter than ubuntu.

Hi all
Just wondering, are there any other distros lighter than ubuntu mate? Which can also run the orca screen reader?
Thank you
