Re: [orca-list] Another question about Orca and BRLTTY

Hi Franciso,

that's a known issue with brltty-6.2, which should hopefully be solved in
brltty 6.3

As a workaround, I downgraded to 6.1 in Slint until 6.3 be released, will
upgrade to 6.3 today as it has been released a few days ago.

     hi everyone.

just today really, i noticed something interesting when i invoke BRLTTY and orca's enabled, since i use both speach and braille.

The following happens when i type brltty, both as normal user, and as suduer.

BRLTTY 6.2 rev BRLTTY-6.2 [http://brltty.app/]

brltty: executing as invoking user: root

brltty: path not group readable: /dev/uinput

brltty: path not group writable: /dev/uinput

brltty: path not group readable: /dev/uinput

brltty: path not group writable: /dev/uinput

In addition, when i run the same command as normal user, it gives me some stuff about not granted capabilities, but i guess that's because i ran it as normal user.

Is there any way you guys know to fix this, or is it just a warning i should ignore?

Thank you for your answers.

Best regards

Francisco.
