Thanks for the info, I just found the solution now: I had to change the Speech-dispatcher setting for symbol
preprocessing to "all", now its working!

I cannot confirm. I also use Orca master 3.39.1pre. Make sure Orca settings > Speech tab, I think the
second option is set to All. I do not use English so I do not know how this option is called, mabe Detail?
