Hey Francisco.

Orca's terminal support is sadly a lot of black magic which I had to concoct due to VTE not exposing much info via accessibility APIs. Arguably, in order for it to do so, we'd need a new "terminal" accessibility interface for ATK/AT-SPI2.

Anyhoo, in order to try to address what you report, I'd have to see if there's enough information for Orca to reliably guess that it shouldn't be speaking what it currently is. And for that, I would need a full debug.out. Information on how to capture one can be found on https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca/Debugging

With arch Linux, I’m experiencing this behavior where orca keeps repeating the same thing over and over, before the thing that it should speak.

For example, when I type

Sudo pacman -S application name,

It says, username, computer name, terminal, at least two times, before asking me the password.

This, how ever, doesn’t happen in ubuntu, which I had for a little wwhile.

Is there a way to reduce this… kind of spam, is anyone else experiencing this?
