I think you’ve already gotten an answer to your question, but I’m not sure what the question means. Are you talking about getting out of Emacs? This has nothing to do with Emacspeak, and I think it’s already been answered. If you’re talking about using Emacs without Emacspeak then you need to shutdown Emacs and restart it without the Emacspeak settings. Depending on how you start Emacs, you could do this with a command line argument and an alternative initialization file for Emacs.

How does one get out of eMacSpeak?

The info I'm reading on it says

c x c c

or c-x c c

It just tells me I cannot modify a buffer.

I don't get it.
