Hello,
I don'ŧ know about such an option in Orca, I hope someone fixes me, if
I'm wrong on this.
However, there is a way, how this could be done.
Note that I didn'ŧ test this out, but I don't see a reason, why it
couldn't work.
Some time ago, I've released Chinfusor, a speech module for reading
texts including foreign alphabets. Slovak version of its official site is:
https://rastisoftslabs.com/2020/07/22/chinfusor-univerzalne-riesenie-pre-citanie-textov-v-cudzich-abecedach-pre-linux/
For other interested people, here is also the English version:
https://rastisoftslabs.com/2020/07/22/chinfusor-a-universal-solution-for-reading-texts-in-foreign-alphabets-on-linux/
Although manual switching of voices is not Chinfusor's default goal, it
can be achieved.
alphabets_settings.csv is tracked in real time to reflect any changes
made to it.
So, all you need to do is to define a separate file for each language
profile you want to have, and a script, which will copy the desired file
to Chinfusor's configuration folder and replace the currently used. Then
you just map this script to a shortcut in your environment and you can
switch profiles, like in Switchsynth for NVDA.
Best regards
Rastislav
