Re: [orca-list] New Mate desktop is more accessible again

Debian 10 is a stable release so only security and major issues are fixed in it. There is the backports repository for providing new version of software but currently Mate 1.24 is not in backports.

Most of the accessibility fixes are made by Hypra and are already backported to our Debian 10 version.

new Mate Desktop is here with a lot of accessibility improvements. The first improvement is in Caja, transfer dialog buttons have accessible labels. A lot was improved in Mate panels, so great work.
