It sounds like you still have the stable version of Orca installed
somewhere and that version of orca.messages lacks CLI_VERSION. I would
either remove the distro's version and reinstall master, or I would
remove master and reinstall the distro's version.

Good morning all,
I am using orca master under Jenux which is based on arch and for
some
reason after building, orca will not start automaticaly and i have
to
start manuely with the run command spesifing the /usr/bin directory.
If
I type orca -v I get the following tracyback. Any ideas on how to
fix
this without having to do a fresh install.
See below.
[matthew@archlinux-vm ~]$ orca -v
Traceback (most recent call last):

sys.exit(main())
File "/usr/local/bin/orca", line 229, in main

File "/usr/local/bin/orca", line 109, in __init__
"-v", "--version", action="version", version=version,
help=messages.CLI_VERSION)
AttributeError: module 'orca.messages' has no attribute 'CLI_VERSION'

BTW, I also find that my control key does not kill speech as
expected.
