I suppose you'd have to build brltty, espeak, orca, speech-dispatcher, dependencies of same, ... Sounds like a lot of work! To do all that, you'd have to remote-login on the Solaris machine. I hope you can do all your required work by ssh, is that would seem to be the be the best option at this point, other than running an old Solaris or Openindiana instance.Good Luck,DaveSent from my Ubuntu 20.04 installationOn Sat, Jul 25, 2020 at 2:51 PM mattias jonsson via orca-list <orca-list gnome org> wrote:_______________________________________________and no brltty. i dont know if you can install it..

You confirmed my worst fear--no more orca in Openindiana. After posting my last, I had a look, and couldn't find recent mention of orca, just very old documents regarding GNOME Speech and GNOME 2.Cheers,DaveSent from my iPhoneOn Jul 25, 2020, at 4:49 AM, mattias jonsson via orca-list <orca-list gnome org> wrote:?_______________________________________________openindiana for example dont have orca no longer

I wasn't aware Solaris still existed. But when I was aware of it, I
believe Orca worked on it.~Kyle
