Re: [orca-list] docs.microsoft.com page problems

Well, the problem is it is indeed chrome, and both stable and current
latest dev of google chrome.
I am on orca master. if I go to any docs page in microsoft, then start
pressing h repeatedly, then after a second heading or something like
this it suddenly stops working. Often if I then press down arrow I get
suddenly moved to the bottom of the page. This does not happen on ff, at
least not on the ff I have.

Hi Michał.

I'm assuming that this is with Firefox as I'm not seeing any problems
with Chrome/Chromium.

In the case of Firefox, here's what seems to be going on: Some of the
headings have a child link which points to the heading. This looks like
a valid location to Orca so it attempts to set the caret there. Soon
after it does, Firefox destroys the accessible object associated with
the link. Then, because the heading is labeled by the now-destroyed
link, it loses its name. Orca was spitting up on all this object
destruction. I've added a number of sanity checks to prevent that from
happening. That won't make everything better, unfortunately.

I'll see if I can add some recovery smarts for this case, but we need
Firefox to not destroy these objects....

Hi,
For some time (orca master) I have problems with docs.microsoft.com,
for
example

If you press h to land on a next heading it works, but pressing h
again
does not. also sometimes when you try to arrow down from the place
you
suddenly land somewhere at the bottom.
