Re: [orca-list] Silencing keyboard shortcuts

Hi,

Modifier, navigation, function keys, and the others are turned off. Command keys and control keys don't exist in that list.

I don't like these keys to be echoed ever.
Whenever I install/configure Orca, I change some settings along with the voice.
I go into keyboard and turn off modifier keys and I think the other one is called control keys.
I also set it to laptop, whether I'm on a desktop or laptop.

Subject: [orca-list] Silencing keyboard shortcuts

Hi,

Is there a way to silence Orca keyboard shortcuts? For example, when pressing 'b' and 'shift+b' to jump from button to button on a website. Sometimes the extra verbose announcements  can cause someone to miss the original text of the button in question?
