Re: [orca-list] When backspacing, object replace character is heard (final email of the night, promise!!)

Hi,

Partially confirmed. When I backspace over the characters and newlines, only the blank lines produce the object replacement character. Otherwise, Orca speaks the deleted characters.

Ubuntu 20.04, Orca master, Google Chrome unstable.

Hello,

When backspacing, the phrase "object replacement character" is verbalized by Orca. This is in Chrome, when in the Gmail compose editor, with Orca Master. To reproduce, do the following:
1. In Chrome with Orca running, navigate to gmail.com
2. Press c to compose a new message.
3. Tab to the message body field.
4. Type "hello" and press enter twice.
5. Press backspace to erase the characters typed.

Expected: The characters are verbalized by Orca.

Actual: The phrase "object replacement character" is heard.
