Re: [orca-list] plans for gnome accessibility

Title: signature_jp_2
Hi,

To be short, I can say two things:
- the GNOME foundation board wants GNOME4 to be accessible, I heard this from somemembers of the board
- the main topics for this are related to GTK4, Wayland, etc. The roadmap is here:
https://wiki.gnome.org/Hackfests/GTK2020/Notes

No idea about pipewire.

High work is needed, but I think GTK will help. Note GNOME pays for one dev, who will work on the accessibility issue this year, from the roadmap.

Things seem in place for the future, even if work is needed

regards

Hello,
What are generally plans for gnome accessibility? Things like wayland,
gtk4 etc? I am curious. Same as I am curious about things like pipewire,
the new sound system, if it would work correctly as a PA replacement...
