Re: [orca-list] Unable to start Orca: how to debug it?

I removed snapd from the computer but it didn't help.

Hello all,

Environment:
- Debian 10
- Orca 3.36
- Mate environment
- GDM login manager 3.30.2-3

I'm trying to help solving an issue on a visual-impaired computer but I get the following message when starting Orca:
$ orca --replace
12:41:29.311971 - TIMEOUT: something has hung. Aborting.
Processus arrêté

The check-a11y tool from Samuel gives me this:
https://pastebin.com/mmypvjVD

The Orca debug log gives me only:
INFO: Cleaning up these PIDs: []
14:21:56.061631 - SETTINGS MANAGER: Activating
14:21:56.061973 - SETTINGS MANAGER: Attempt to load orca-customizations from /home/alexarnaud/.local/share/orca/orca-customizations.py succeeded.
14:21:56.062529 - SETTINGS MANAGER: Activated
(and Orca stops)

I don't see any upgrade which could lead to such issue because Orca works correctly before.

The user has "snapd" installed but I've it installed on my computer too without problem. I removed all installed snap applications.

To be honest, I don't really know how to go forward. Does anyone has an idea?

Thanks in advance.
