I have seen this sometimes in Ubuntu 20.10. It mainly does this with the terminal or web content. The other thing I noticed is that you have to press ALT+F4 twice when closing something. EX: to close vscode, I have to press ALT+F4 twice because only doing it once puts Orca somewhere in limbo. From: orca-list <orca-list-bounces gnome org> On Behalf Of Devin Prater via orca-list Hi all. Whenever I quit some programs, like Chromium, VLC, and GPodder, all keyboard input seems to do nothing after the program closes, except Orca. Using Orca to click on something doesn't work, but I can review the current flat review object, which is always the title bar of the application switched to when the other app closes. So, if I have Firefox open, and open VLC, then close VLC, the flat review will say "<current page> - Mozilla Firefox." However, if I press Insert + H, Orca does announce that screen reader help is open. And if I then press F1, Orca documentation opens, and things are put back to normal. Has anyone experienced this? Would a debug file help here? Devin Prater |
