Re: [orca-list] issue in writer

Hi,

This happens in Ubuntu Mate 19.04 and stock Ubuntu 19.04. I get it all the time. Pressing F6 until the cursor reaches the document content works, but is annoying.

Hello Michael,

What is your GNU/Linux distribution and desktop environment ? If it's Ubuntu and Unity, the only one advise I can give you is to switch to Mate or the GNOME Desktop where we don't encounter this issue.

Best regards,
Alex.

I can't seem to be able to access the menus in Libre Office Writer.

When i enter Writer, I get Orca reading Document 1 frame or whatever but I get something called navigation so I can't access menus like some navigation bar appears with options like text on etc.

How do I get rid of this.

Currently if I want to open a document in Writier I have to go to my documents folder and use open with and select Writer.
