Howdy,
maybe he talk about LIOS. OCRdektop is not a OCR application in
classical way. it scans non accessible windows for its content.
i guess "Desktop OCR" means an classic OCR solution suite.
For Arch:

Git:

Hello Ollie,
It's OCRdesktop written by Chrys:

Installation instructions in Arch at the bottom of the page and the WiKi
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ocrdesktop
I didn't include it on Slint because it is not compatible yet with
Tesser ct 4 that we ship and has way better performances than Tesseract
3 in characters recognition.
Meanwhile in Slint you can use lios instead, documentation in your
system in /usr/doc/lios-20181222/

Hello all,
A couple fo weeks ago someone mentioned a Desktop OCR. I lost that
message, but I'd be interested in finding it to install in Arch and
Slint.
Could whoever knows about it please let me have a link or a reference?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Ciao,
Ollie
