I had noticed this too specially on gitlab and a few times on
some sites which can't be mentioned here due to research level
confidentiality.
But yes it happens.

freeCAD --help
displays the help text in what I assume is a GTK dialog.
Unfortunately, using flat review and trying to move line-by-line
reads the entire help text, even though it seems to contain
newlines.
