Re: [orca-list] Orca master and reading by words

Hi Vojta.

With the exception of Firefox/Thunderbird, Orca doesn't control where you land when you move by word. It just speaks what's there (which it gets by asking for the current word where your caret landed). As such, I don't think it can be turned off per se. I might be able to improve what gets spoken if I can reliably predict the situation. But for that I would need a specific test case along with expectations of what you think should be spoken instead.

Thanks!

Hello.

If I read by words CTRL right arrow, and behind some word is comma or dot, it sais that word twice. Is some way to turn it off? It is really annoying.

thanks a lot.

Best regards

Vojta.
