[orca-list] Orca master fails to read Mate desktop icons

Hi,


I run Orca master (3.30.1 pre), Ubuntu 18.04.1, and Mate desktop. After 
updating to Orca master a few minutes ago (9:00PM EST), Orca fails to 
read the desktop icons.


1. Pull down the newest commit of orca.

2. Type sudo make && sudo make install.

3. Stop and restart orca.

4. Go to the Mate desktop with icons.

5. Arrow through the icons.


Expected result: Orca reads the icons.

Actual result: Orca remains silent.
