Re: [orca-list] sapi

Hi Krishnakant,

cf. https://github.com/brailcom/speechd/blob/master/ANNOUNCE
but be aware that things can change slightly as 0.9 is not yet released.

The list of config files is here:
https://github.com/brailcom/speechd/tree/master/config/modules

Of course the corresponding synthesizers need to be installed, as well
as associated voices.

Best,

Didier

Hi Didier,

I was just reading your response on this issue and wondered which
additional synths or voices will be supported?

I always wondered if those available on Android phones can be ported to
Linux and then supported?

Else which are the other synths you are talking about?

happy hacking.

Krishnakant.

Hello,
All stll discontinued. Use an other TTS synthesizer.
Upcoming speech-dispatcher 0.9 will be able to connect to even more
synthesizers and provide even more voices than the previous release.

Let us know which voices you want, so that we can tell if it will be
available and through which the supported synthesizers.
