Hi Didier.
Could you please try the following in a terminal: Launch python and then
type the following, pressing return after each line:
import gi
gi.require_version('Gtk', '3.0')
from gi.repository import GObject
from gi.repository import Gtk
from gi.repository import Gdk
When I do this I get no errors as seen in the output below.
Python 3.6.5 (default, Mar 29 2018, 18:20:46)
[GCC 8.0.1 20180317 (Red Hat 8.0.1-0.19)] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import gi
>>> gi.require_version('Gtk', '3.0')
>>> from gi.repository import GObject
>>> from gi.repository import Gtk
>>> from gi.repository import Gdk
Do you get any errors?

orca doesn't start after that:
