I just hear no focus after trying to invoke gnome-terminal, that is
what I hear. Before that I hear the command dialog.

I see Orca say "no focus" which can happen if temporarily nothing has
focus (e.g. the window/dialog you're in goes away but the new window
hasn't gained focus yet). But your debug.out has lots of speech in it.
Search for "SPEECH DISPATCHER:" to find all the stuff Orca is sending to
speech-dispatcher to be spoken. If you're not hearing any of that, then
the problem is perhaps in speech-dispatcher or espeak or pulse/alsa....
If you are hearing that, then I don't know what problem you're reporting.

start the gdm using systemd. shift tab to not listed. Hit enter.
type my user name and hit enter. type the password and hit enter.
Wait for some time till I get the gnome screen. Hit alt-f2 and type
gnome-terminal and hit return.
Result is I hear espeak say no focus.
I then did an orca --replace --debug and tried doing alt-f2 and
gnome-terminal again and here is the log I get.

Anything on this one -- have not heard from anyone. I did get a newer
version of pyatspi, but now orca starts, but if I try to run any
program it just says no focus.
Thanks for any help you can give.
