Re: [orca-list] Firefox on ubuntu 16.04

You've tried to force an orca --replace while on the web page, have you also turned caret mode on I think with f7 yet?

Hi

I installed orca 3.26 and there is no difference. I did test it to be sure it did not work with either speech or braille and niether one works. My wife tells me it comes up in the address bar and tab takes you through the page but you can't prove it by me.

thanks
Tom

After the last security updates of firefox on Ubuntu 16.04 it no longer
works with orca.? I get neither braille nor speech.? I don't spend a lot
of time on the desktop as I prefer working at the console but everything
else appears to be working with orca and/or braille including
thunderbird. My wife looked at firefox today and from a visual
perspective it appears to behave normally.? Is anyone else seeing this
and do you have any suggestions where to go from here?

Maybe you could upgrade your orca version to 3.26 to check if it solves
your issue. You could download it from here :

 Best regards.
