Sorry, for Whatsapp I was referring to my iPhone, as it works great.
I can tell Siri, "send whatsapp message to NAME good morning honey",
and it works great.  Receiving new messages works great to.  Whereas,
Skype doesn't work at all on a iPhone or Samsung for that matter.

I'm a LINUX software developer, so Windows is out.  Couldn't imagine
using it again.

Skype does somewhat work with Pidgin and skype-web plugin, but not
enough to be trusted, and I'm sure I've missed quite a few messages.
Maybe I'll connect with the author of skype-web extension, and see if
I can help.
