Dear Joanie,
For the plain text message composition, the steps are :
1) Open Icedove
2) Write a new message
3) Tab two times to go to the message body
4) write a line and press enter
5) Go to the previous line with the "up" arrow
6) Go to the empty line with the "down" arrow
Result with the last commit : Orca stays silent on the blank line
Result with HEAD~1 : Orca says "blank" on empties lines
For the HTML mode you are right, the issue I've seen exist before the
changes you have made.
Best regards.

Hi Alex.
Thanks for testing. I'm afraid that I cannot reproduce the problem with
blank lines when composing a plain text message. I can reproduce it when
composing an HTML message. However, if I go to the previous commit, I
can also reproduce it, so I don't think it is a related regression --
assuming I understand what you are describing. In order to be sure,
could you please give me exact steps to reproduce the problem using
Thunderbird?
Thanks!

Dear Joanie,
You have correctly resolved the issue.
I'm not sure if it is a related regression but the empties lines are no
more announced by Orca (both with text and HTML mode).
Best regards.
