Re: [orca-list] no braille output with Orca and latest Brltty

Jakob, here is what you need to do to make brltty work for now.
edit the brltty.conf file which is located in /etc
on about line #591 you need to uncomment the line that reads:
api-parameters Auth=keyfile:/etc/brlapi.key # Require authentication key

Note, this should be on one line.
Then restart brltty sudo systemctl restart brltty
This should make orca work again.

Hello,

I am using Arch Linux with latest Gnome and Orca (master). Since
latest upgrade to Brltty (V5.5-1) braille output does not work any
more in Gnome; the message "screen not in text mode" keeps staying on
my braille display (=Papenmeyer El40). Does anyone have this issue and
what could I do to track down the problem? Everything works when
staying with Brltty 4.4-x.

Thanks in advance,
Jakob
