Re: [orca-list] accessible rtf editor

Emacs has org-mode built-in now. If you have a text file and say change the txt suffix on it to .org then org-mode will be activated. Now with org-mode active you can export your file to several different formats one of which just happens to be rtf. When I did exporting with org-mode in the past it was to html but I do remember rtf being one of the export possibilities. So once you get emacs installed if not already installed you can do info org to bring up the org-mode manual and then /export to find the section on exporting stuff. It took me very few keystrokes to do it and the html org-mode exports is entirely accessible.

I wnt to submit a boot to bookshare.org. They want submissions in rtf format. Is there an accessible rtf editor for linux? I tried abiword and it did not seem to work with orca. I also tried to install ted but it had too many broken dependencies for my ubuntu 16.04 system.
