Re: [orca-list] has anyone else ever noticed the following issue?

Why not run script first then repeat what you did to cause this error?
Next, try exiting out of script which will save output in a file called typescript. If you got your original error message in typescript along with yyour options, then in this case stderr is not captured by orca. The stderr file handle is where linux prints out errors. The stdout file handle shows what you normally read on the screen, and the stdin file handle collects your keyboard and/or rodent input to feed to the computer. If some way already exists such that errors show up on a separate console you could switch to that screen and read them but I don't know that this is happening while orca is running.

Interesting, does orca not capture stderr?

Subject: [orca-list] has anyone else ever noticed the following issue

Hi folks,
I was copying some files across from one dir to another earlier this morning, using Sonar mate edition, and I hit a file conflict. I wanted to see what the file conflict was, but I couldn't get orca to read me the entire dialogue. It'd read me my options, but not the message associated with those options.
Suggestions?
