Peter, thank you very much for the study of the problem.
Could someone nibu if the problem is really on the side of "mozilla",
competently them to inform the inconvenience? Sometimes, there is still
the need to install add-ons in the offline mode.

Hello,
I'm trying the same thing with Thunderbird 38.6.0.
When going to Menu Tools -> Addons, there is a focusable clearly labeled
button Tools for all addons on the toolbar. It is possible to switch to
it by repeatedly pressing the tab key.
However no mather what I'm trying I can't get this button to activate.
Emulating the mouse, pressing enter, pressing spacebar does nothing.
I think it should popup a menu.
So I suspect this might be a Mozilla issue..
Greetings
Peter

I mean, the ability to install add-ons that are already stored on my
computer. In "seamonkey", it is possible, in the menu which can be
accessed by using the "f10" keys. In the "firefox" and "thunderbird" -
is also there, but it seems to "orca", this button is not available.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do, but in Thunderbird, I select Add
Ons from the Tools menu. When the Add Ons Manager tab comes up, I tab
over to a list which has extensions, appearance, plug ins, languages
and
so on. I can then arrow down to plug ins and then tab over to work with
each plug in I have installed.

Hi, All.
As far as I know, "firefox" and "thunderbird", you can install
add-ons,
which are stored on the hard disk. Initially, this function was
available in the menu; But then - it was moved to the additions tab.
Is it possible to somehow get to this function using the "orca"? I
tried
several times, but could not find this feature.
It is not so often needed, but periodically people ask me about it.
