Re: [orca-list] latest orca master cannot read the format dropdown in libreoffice save as dialogs

Hello,

'I think this is the GTK 3.20.x combobox related brokenness Joanie had to hack around for Gecko, GTK, java and other toolkit's based apps seperatelly.

I am not sure if yet another hack is in order or it's better to wait for GTK update to resolve this at some point.

Greetings

Peter

hi all
Steps to reproduce:
open libreoffice, any program will do. Enter some text, and press
control+s to save the file. When the libreoffice dialog opens, orca
reads the name of the file, but when you press tab to get to the format
combo box, orca says "name" unselected, where name is the name of the
file, but then says nothing. If you shift tab around the dialog until
you land on the format combo box orca says "toggle button not pressed".
Of course if you press space, orca reads the list of formats just fine.
Could this be an accessibility issue in libre office and not an orca
issue? This is sonar linux 16.07, completely up to date. It's worth
noting that I use libreoffice's fresh branch, which means the newest
stable version rather than the "still" branch which is their lts
version, the lts version might not have this issue. Orca master is
completely up to date as of ten minutes ago.

Thanks
Kendell Clark
