hi
This has inspired me to get back into debian. I think I'll set up an
installation on my 1tb hard drive.
Thanks

Are brltty removed from the installer?
No, I installed debian testing earlier today using the 64-bit netinst
image and the alpha 5 version of the debian installer.
I entered 's' at the boot prompt and hit enter.
Debian installer started with both speech (speakup/espeakup) and
Braille driven by brltty.
After installing Debian I upgraded my installation to track
sid/unstable branch and brltty were upgraded to 5.3.1.
