Hi Jean-Philippe.
If you have Firefox's native caret navigation enabled (F7), then Orca
not only speaks the text but re-positions the caret within that text.
That used to cause the screen to scroll, but something changed in Gecko
at some point which broke that functionality. See this Mozilla bug:
