hi
That's a good idea. I wonder if they use bugzilla or not. If not, I'll
figure out what bug tracking system they use, create an account and
report the issue. Just as a curiosity, I wonder how nvda does it? It
also uses brltty and liblouis for braille, although I think they also
write their own drivers rather than depending on brltty's, which I think
is unnecessary duplication of effort, but that might be what's allowing
them to word wrap, assuming nvda does it.
Thanks

hi
I'm hoping so. If not, joanie would you mind looking into this once you
have time? I want to emphasize once you have time, even devin says it's
not a critical issue and he's perfectly fine with how orca does braille,
and it's probably on your todo list, and I'm satisfied with that.
Thanks

Howdy,
There is a hot new update from liblouis to 3.0.0. Maybe you want to try that . Arch doesnt have that
update yet, so i guess sonar also dont have it yet. I will mark it out of date. Hope your problem is
fixed there.

Hi Kendell. This is a known issue. Ideally, liblouis would do the
wrapping for us, but it doesn't.

hi all
I'm reporting this on behalf of one of our sonar users who just
installed it a couple of days ago, devin prater. He says orca eitehr
can't or doesn't word wrap when using braille. I don't know if this is
true or not because I don't have a braille display to test with. I'd
think that's such a basic feature that orca would be able to do it, but
it might need to be turned on first. Can anyone who either uses orca
with a display or who knows more confirm this? I'd like to fix this in
sonar so that word wrap is turned on by default if it needs to be set.
Thanks
Kendell Clark
