You can boot from a live CD such as GRML, partition the disk as needed, then
use debootstrap to install Debian, install a kernel and a boot loader. The
Debian installation guide has instructions for using debootstrap to perform an
installation.
Once the newly installed system boots, you can install GNOME and Orca.
