Re: [orca-list] was fight against old ARIA live regions annoucement algorithm so effective

Hi Janusz.

Orca will hopefully have plugin support before too long. And then you
can write a plugin to work around broken/missing ARIA and share it with
others who want to work around broken/missing ARIA. I hope you find that
a reasonable compromise.

Because for now, Orca support ARIA standards exactly according to The
ARIA related norm.
And I Am afraid, that The result of enforcements of exact ARIA norm
implementation have only one result.
Core developers of WEB pages will simply rather remove ARIA support or
OrCa will not announce ARIA live regions in all WEB sites, which do not
code ARIA support exactly according to The norm.
So my kind question is.
How are Yours users experience with Orca and ARIA support. Do You think,
that Orca support much more less WEB sites with have used ARIA standards?
It is sad, if it will be by this way. Yes, norms have its senses. But
how if sighted developers will rather remove ARIA support or if they
will rather continue to use wrong ARIA standards?
ARIA is ideal solution but The situation is very sad at least according
to my opinion.
What do You think about situation related to ARIA support in various WEB
sites?
Who of us know The big server which contain many Greaseamonkey
javascripts to redesign wrong ARIA support in some WEB sites.
Thank You very much for Yours answers.
With kindness regards.
