This could be a bug for sure.
But I am just curious, is it really necessary that you shift to a new 
version of Eclipse?
I am doing professional quality development using Eclipse Luna and I 
have no issues what so ever.
Auto complete works, suggestions works and all that you would need every 
thing is out of the box.
I recall using quickfix as well.
