Hi.
Confirmed as described.

Alt+tab, alt+f2, alt+f1 and etc  didn't work. Even ctrl+alt+f3 normaly 
used to switch to a virtual console also didn't work.

I was forced to shut down my machine using the poweroff button.

I tested with latest orca from master.
