Last I heard Ubuntu mate still has two panels, never tried Sonar's mate spin, but if they did not remove one
panel they surely should as it's blink
specific distro.

Agreed with bh here. This is what sonar mate edition does. I think,
but I can't remember, if ubuntu mate does this as well? I don't think
it does, but I know the developer a little and he takes accessibility
seriously, and it's one of the most accessiblt ubuntu distros around.
