That is why I ask about experiences in something bigger.
I do not ask if it is accessible. I ask if it is production ready in
this respect, and this is really not the same.

QT have been working on their accessibility. Support for Linux AT-SPI is
supposed to be included in the latest versions of QT 5. Also, their Web site
has good information about their accessibility API, but I don't know how up to
date the documentation is.
If you wish to experiment, try it with a very simple program, e.g., one that
creates a button with a label in a window.
