hi Orca does this already natively. You can control how much by going into the orca preferences, going to the voice tab and changing the voice type to uppercase, then changing the settings. One minor problem with espeak, at least in linux, is that after a capital for a few seconds espeak sounds a bit like a chipmunk before settling down again. This is only when using orca. If you use espeak from the command line, espeakup in a text console or any other program that uses espeak directly this doesn't happen. It's probably a problem with the espeak speech-dispatcher module. Orca doesn't rise on a capital letter unless and only unless you are reviewing by character.
