Re: [orca-list] dropbox

Hello,
I think on initial launch Dropbox displays a dialog where you can link it to your Dropbox accounts. Otherwise as something happens with dropbox e.g. it syncs and new files get uploaded and / or downloaded it displays a notification in the notification area. You can emulate a right click on that notification and open dropbox folder or Dropbox settings from there. This is how I think you can operate dropbox alone. Aside from this there are some Dropbox extentions for popular file managers e.g. nautilus-dropbox. This makes nautilus integrate nicelly with dropbox so when bringing context menu for files in dropbox folder in Nautilus also know as the Files application you can see stanard Dropbox actions there e.g. share folder, and similar. Most of them just open Dropbox website at an appropriate location however for files inside a public folder, there is that well known copy public link menu item.

I don't know how to access dropbox icon from the pannel when there are no notifications and this is something we most likelly need to figure out.

Greetings

Peter

I am using ubuntu 14.04.3 lts and I have installed dropbox. Orca does not seem to work with the desktop. I am told it is looking for login information but it show me nothing. Is there a way to handle this without sighted help?
