Re: [orca-list] vmware fusion

But have you been able to get alt-right arrow to work or alt-left-arrow
in a Linux vm?

Not yet, but I think I see the problem and how to resolve it.

The problem is that Ctrl-Command on Mac is defined for VMware itself, so
never gets passed to the guest OS in the vm.

If I recall, command+right-arrow is cycle through Windows, as in next vm
window.

So, I'm now looking at VMware / Preferences / Keyboard & Mouse and the
Default Profile to see where the most global replacement might be.

I'm looking to replace with something like Shift+Ctrl+Command, and I
hope this doesn't have to be done one at a time for all the default
mappings.

Pull up the VMware library and follow the menus to where you can define
your own key combo for this.

I've found it useful to run two separate vms, one for graphical Linux
with Orca, and another for cli with Speakup. In fact, I have a third vm
just for emacspeak. This reduces the complexity of custom key
combinations.
