Hi Glenn,
Well, to start with the package name is gnome-orca not orca. It would
help to request the correct package name when trying to do an apt-get
install or upgrade.
Another thing to remember is a lot of times the repositories are out
of date. Meaning the stable build available on the Ubuntu repository
isn't necessarily the latest to begin with. If you truly want an up to
date version of Orca you have to build from source.
Cheers!

Hi All,
I have noticed that there have been a lot of things being worked out in
Orca.
In the past, I have tried apt-get install orca
and apt-get never finds anything for orca.
Does Orca use a separate repository?
One would think that if a package came with an ISO, that we could get an
update via apt-get.
Maybe there's something about this process that I'm not understanding.
What do all of you know about this?
Glenn
