Re: [orca-list] Hint for Eclipse users

... sorry accidentally hit enter on the website :-)
So here it is:

Shutdown eclipse first.
Open up the eclipse.ini file with your favorite editor and go to the end of it.
Add this vm parameter which will be shifted to eclipse:
-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.DefaultType=mozilla

After starting eclipse again goto window -> preferences -> general ->
web browser and select these two entries:
# from the first radio buttons: use external web browser
# from the second ones: use firefox (not system default!)

Restart Eclipse and try e.g. to bring up a javadoc window.

Hello all!

i don't know if this is a well known workaround but maybe it is
helpful to some of you anyway :)

In the last vief releases of eclipse (since 4.x) i always had issues
with reading html based views. The most important issue - for me - was
with the javadoc view...
Today i found a hint how to solve this issue:

You will have to force eclipse to explicitly use firefox to render..
Thats how you could do it:
