I think I might have a solution to this. If you have paprefs
installed, launch it. Then in the network tab, check the box marked
make pulseaudio network devices available locally, then close it. That
should do it. You may need to switch to the remote sound card, or
sound might just work. This is only a guess, i've never done this. But
