Hi,
The chm format is mostly common for ms windows enviroments. So the possibilitys are a little rare.
Maybe you can convert the files to pdf txt or decompile it back to html with chm2pdf or archmage.
http://archmage.sourceforge.net/
You can also try to compile your old reader chmsee by yourself
Cheers chrys

[orca-list] Reading CHM files
Hello all,
I have already read CHM files with chmsee, however, having migrated to
Ubuntu 14.04, I couldn't find it at official repositories.
I tried to use xchm, but it seemed to be not accessible with Orca.
So I ask: which accessible application can be used t read or convert chm files?
